Who are we?

Transition Training is a dedicated training organisation specialising in the fields of Information and Communications Technology and Peace and Reconciliation. The company was founded in April 2004 by its two principle directors Sheena Clegg and Francis Higgins as a direct response to the opportunities offered by the gaps in training provision in the cross community sectors. The company has designed and developed a range of innovative courses using 'state of the art' Internet and mobile computing technologies, such as the Exploring Diversity Course, Back 2 the Future and 'Road to Reconciliation.' The company is limited under guarantee with accompanying articles of association at the registered address of the company on the Cregagh Road, however the company effectively trades from the operational headquarters of Transition training at the Belfast Cathedral Centre.

What do we do?

The companies New Deal training specialises in delivering technical and software qualification through the City & Guilds awarding body. The company has also specialised in sophisticated web design training and certification through city & Guilds. Transition Training delivers sustainable quality training through its stringent quality procedures. These procedures exceed the requirements of all major awarding bodies and are considered to be 'best practice' The company has delivered training in its documented procedures to representatives of the Department of Employment and Learning.
